Connect your own domain

On the Enterprise plan your page opens on your own domain, for example bio.yourname.com, instead of wbio.ir/you. This guide walks through it step by step.

What you need

An active Enterprise plan (Account section in the panel)
A domain you own — .ir from nic.ir, or any other extension from any registrar
Access to that domain's DNS panel (where you edit records)

Steps

Pick the address

Use a subdomain: bio.yourname.com or link.yourname.com. A bare domain (yourname.com) only works if your DNS provider supports CNAME flattening or ALIAS records (Cloudflare does; many panels do not).

Connect it in the wbio panel

Open Dashboard → Domain, type the domain, choose which of your pages should open on it under "Page to show" and press Connect. The status becomes Waiting for DNS; that is expected.

Point the record at wbio

In your domain's DNS panel (or your CDN panel — ArvanCloud, Cloudflare…) create one record: a CNAME for a subdomain such as bio.yourname.com (recommended — it follows us if our server ever moves), or an A record for the bare domain (@, e.g. yourname.com):

🔒 The exact record values show here and in your dashboard's Domain section once you have the Enterprise plan.

If an A or CNAME record with the same name already exists, delete it first; a CNAME cannot sit next to another record.
Put just bio in the name field, not bio.yourname.com, or the record lands on bio.yourname.com.yourname.com.
.ir domains: records are created in the panel of whatever your nameservers point at (your host, ArvanCloud or another DNS service), not on nic.ir itself.

Using a CDN (ArvanCloud, Cloudflare)?

Fine — keep the cloud/proxy on; your CDN then issues the certificate for your domain and shows your page from its edge. Two settings matter:

Origin protocol / SSL mode: choose HTTPS or Full — not "Full (strict)" and not "verify certificate" (our origin serves a certificate for its own name, which a strict check rejects). Plain HTTP works too.
On Cloudflare the SSL mode is per zone (SSL/TLS → Overview); if the rest of your site needs strict mode, add a Configuration Rule for bio.yourname.com that sets SSL mode to Full, or turn the orange cloud off for this record (DNS only) and we handle the certificate ourselves.

Wait for it to activate

The status refreshes by itself while the Domain section is open. It usually takes 1 to 30 minutes, at worst 24 hours for DNS. The HTTPS certificate is issued automatically — by us when the record points straight at us, by your CDN otherwise — nothing to install. When it says Active, you are done.

Done!

Your page opens on https://bio.yourname.com. The wbio.ir/you address keeps working too, and both count into the same analytics.

If something goes wrong

Still "Waiting for DNS" after an hour

Check with a tool like dnschecker.org that bio.yourname.com resolves to •••••••••• / •••.•••.•••.••• (or to your CDN's addresses when the proxy is on). If not, re-check the record: wrong name, an old record with the same name, or changes not saved.

"Origin certificate" / error 525 / 526 from the CDN

Your CDN is checking our certificate strictly. Set its origin protocol / SSL mode to HTTPS or Full (not strict), or to HTTP. On Cloudflare: SSL/TLS → Overview → Full.

"Origin unreachable" / error 522 / 523

The CDN cannot reach our origin — check the record points at •••••••••• or •••.•••.•••.••• and nothing else.

"That domain is already connected to another account"

A domain can be connected to one account only. If it is yours, remove it from the other account or message us.

I want a different page on the domain

Pick another page in the Domain section and press Connect again; DNS does not need to change.

My plan ended

Until you renew, the domain redirects to wbio.ir. The record and the connection stay, and it is active again once renewed.

I want to remove the domain

Press the bin icon in the Domain section. You can then delete the DNS record too.

Notes

Only the root of the domain (/) shows your page; any other path redirects to wbio.ir.
One domain per account. Different pages on different domains need separate accounts.
Connecting a domain costs nothing extra; it is part of the Enterprise plan.
